Space still available for volunteer participants in Cybersecurity research study

I recently invited volunteer participants to join my graduate research study about “What impact can executive coaching have in mitigating burnout for cybersecurity professionals?” I still have some spots left and I’m welcoming more to join.

Who should participate?

I am seeking individual volunteers in the cybersecurity profession (those who have or are currently receiving coaching in their role(s), and those who haven’t received coaching). To qualify, volunteers require a minimum work experience of seven (7) years in the cybersecurity profession, and who may hold positions, such as manager, director, vice-president, or chief information security officer (CISO/CSO), and other related roles such as incident manager, security operations centre analyst (SOC analyst), security engineer, threat hunter, etc. All participation is confidential and anonymous.

If you meet these qualifications and interests, I would love to hear from you!

How long will participation take?

Participation involves approximately 2 hours of your time, and there will be three activities: 1) An emotional intelligence assessment (EQ-i 2.0); 2) a 10–20-minute survey; 3) a 45-60 minute audio/video interview).

How do I get involved?

If you are interested in volunteering, you can email me directly at kathryn.dupont@royalroads.ca and I will forward you the details.

Invite your colleagues.

Please feel free to forward this post to anyone you know in the profession. Volunteers are welcome from all industries and anywhere in the world.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to contribute to meaningful research. I’m looking forward to your participation and happy to answer any questions you may have.
